On any given night in the City of Houston approximately 10,000 women, children, and men find themselves Homeless. Approximately 870,000 families in the city go hungry as a result of economic down times, underemployment, and unemployment. Houston has become a city with one of the fastest growth rates of HIV. Houston definitely has a problem!
The Bread of Life, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, provides solutions to these problems through sustaining, equipping, and transforming the forgotten – with compassion.
Bread Of Life Featured Solutions
Breakfast served Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. in the St. John’s Sanctuary
Distributing 18 tons of fresh food (in collaboration with Houston Food Bank) at two locations:
- Downtown (1703 Gray Street) on Wednesdays from 7AM to 11 AM
- Northwest campus (8787 North Houston Roslyn Road) on Thursday from 11AM to 1PM.
No cost medical services are provided by volunteer physicians to homeless men and women on a weekly basis.
