When Bread Of Life, Inc. was created the mission was to make an impact that would be felt for generations. In those 30 years, we’ve partnered with some amazing partners who have helped this dream come to fruition. We are asking that you partner with us to keep this dream alive by donating to our cause. In doing so lives will continue to be saved and changed forever.

Our Monthly Distribution

Our monthly food and supply distributions are not just about providing meals, and much needed products but about creating a sense of community and reminding each other that we are all in this together. During these challenging times, it's important to extend a helping hand to those who need it most.

Distribution Schedule

1st Saturdays are Food Only Distributions Located on Jackson and Pierce St.

3rd Saturdays are Food and Supply Distributions Located on Gray and Crawford St.

WILL OPEN  3 DAYS

BEFORE DISTRIBUTION 


Receive essential food and household items at no cost. Pre-register before you arrive or register on-site while you wait for a smooth check-in process! Please keep your receipt/ticket to show our staff. Please Note: Bread of Life serves a maximum of 4 households per vehicle. Each household must show proof of a separate address. (Ex. ID card, utility bill, etc. )

We no longer accept photos of proof of address.
If you are picking up for another household, you must provide their physical ID card, utility bill, etc.

Our Community Care program has a team of Community Health Workers who work with you to develop health goals with action steps based on what you value most.  Our team offers personalized care and resource navigation to help support you and your family with things like nutritional support, medical care resources, child care assistance, and mental health resources. We're here to help!

KNOWLES-ROWLAND

HOUSE

Knowles-Rowland House, LP is a limited partnership formed by the non-profit partners of Bread of Life, Inc. and Temenos CDC to develop and operate 31 units of permanent supportive housing for persons exiting homelessness. Bread of Life, Inc. will serve as the General Partner of the Knowles-Roland House limited partnership. Bread of Life, Inc. has operated at 2019 Crawford St., Houston, TX 77002, since its incorporation as a 501(c)3 in 1997. As a limited partner, Temenos CDC brings its 13-year history of permanent supportive housing services and operations expertise to the partnership. Temenos CDC was incorporated in 2009 to provide PSH.
